Formal Employment Creation Project Grant Program Evaluation Results

We thank all the applicants for their interest in the Formal Employment Creation Project Grant Program – Kayist, which is funded by the EU’s “Facility for Refugees in Türkiye Program (FRIT II)” and implemented by Development and Investment Bank of Türkiye (TKYB) under the administration of the World Bank.

Within the scope of the Grant Program, more than 1,100 applications were received, and “Administrative and Eligibility Check", "Technical and Financial Evaluation" and "Environmental and Social Assessment" stages were completed within the framework of the procedures and principles specified in the Application Guideline. Upon the finalization of evaluations, successful and unsuccessful applications were determined and received no objection from the World Bank.

After the announcement of the evaluation results, applicants were notified through the communication channels registered on the Kayist Platform. Successful applicants on the final list will be invited for contract signing in Istanbul in January 2024.

Formal Employment Creation Project Grant Program Evaluation Results

We thank all applicants for their interest in the Formal Employment Creation Project Grant Program – Kayist, which is funded by the EU’s “Facility for Refugees in Türkiye Program (FRIT II)” and implemented by Development and Investment Bank of Türkiye (TKYB) under the administration of the World Bank.

The “Administrative and Eligibility Check” and “Technical and Financial Evaluation” stages of the Program were carried out and completed within the framework of procedures and principles specified in the Application Guideline for Sub-grant Applicants and the necessary notifications for evaluation results were carried out through the communications channels of the applicants registered on the Kayist Online Platform.  

Upon Technical and Financial Evaluation, application process for those with scores below the required threshold was finalised, while those with scores above the threshold proceeded to the Environmental and Social Assessment stage, which will be carried out by Çınar Mühendislik Müşavirlik A.Ş. who is authorized consultancy firm  by TKYB..

Applications that are successful in the Environmental and Social Assessment phase will form the final list and the applicants who are eligible for grant support will be invited to sign the Grant Agreement. Announcements regarding the process can be followed on www.kayist.org website.

Evaluation Process for the Formal Employment Creation Project Grant Program Applications Continue

The evaluation process for the grant applications, which ended on 14 March 2022, continues in line with the project calendar on our website.

During the evaluation process, Development and Investment Bank of Turkey will be able to request additional information or documents for clarification regarding the application and supporting documents via the e-mail / telephone communication channels declared by the applicants, if deemed necessary.

Deadline Extended for the Formal Employment Creation Project Grant Program Applications

Applications to the Grant Program will close as of 14.03.2022 at 17:00 and no new applications can be submitted into the system after this date and time. However, due to great interest, beneficiaries who already have an existing application on the platform will be given time to complete their requests until 14.03.2022, 23:00.

After this date and time, no operations will be available on the system.

Updates on the Eligibility of Applicants for Formal Employment Creation Project Grant Program

The criteria for the applicants for the Formal Employment Creation Project Grant Program is updated. With the amendment, it will be sufficient for the applicants to have been established at least 2 (two) years prior to the application completion date to be eligible.

Helpdesk for Formal Employment Creation Project Grant Program Applications

A help desk has been set up to support applicants in their applications to Formal Employment Creation Project Grant Program and to answer their questions. The call center, which will be available as of February 24, 2022, will be open for calls between 09:00-12:00 and 13:30-17:00 and will be closed on March 11, 2022 at 17:00.

Info Days and Event Schedule 

Implemented by the Development and Investment Bank of Turkey, the "Formal Employment Creation Project Grant Program" will hold Info Days to support interested parties in their application processes to the Grant Program. The events will offer information on the Kayist Grant Program and demonstrate the necessary steps and documents for the application process for the interested institutions, organizations and companies, and answer their questions.

Clarifications on the Eligibility of Applicants and Supporting Documents for The Formal Employment Creation Project Grant Program

Updates have been made on the applicant eligibility and the required documents for applications to the "Formal Employment Creation Project Grant Program" implemented by the Development and Investment Bank of Turkey. The changes aim to clarify details on tax debts, application documents, etc. and to make the application process more understandable.

Extension of the Deadline for Applications for The Formal Employment Creation Project Grant Program

The Call for Proposals for the applications under the "Formal Employment Creation Project Grant Program" implemented by the Development and Investment Bank of Turkey was opened on December 17th, 2021. The deadline for the applications is extended from February 2nd, 2022 to February 28th, 2022  (17.00).
